- Volunteers may join Northside Hospital’s Credit Union and take advantage of its services
- Letters of Recommendation
- The Manager of Volunteer Services will write LoRs after a minimum of 50 hours of quality service
- Scholarships
- Two scholarships are available to Auxilians and their immediate families:
- One given by Northside Hospital Auxiliary
- One by the State Council on Auxiliaries/Volunteers
- Gift Shop Discounts
- Members receive a 10% discount on gift items only at main campus
- Members who work a regular shift in Gift Shop receive 25%
- This discount does not apply to sale items
- Insurance
- Volunteers receive worker’s compensation while on duty
- Tax Deductions
- Mileage to and from the hospital, uniforms and membership fees are tax deductible
- Award Pins
- Given in recognition of 500 hours of service and in 500 hour increments given out at the Awards luncheon in April
- Hospital Award Pins
- Given for 5, 10, 15 etc. years of service with Awards luncheon in October.
